The city of Los Animos, cohabited by people and animal people, is overrun by criminals, charlatans, cheats, culprits, cons, crooks, cracksmen, corruption, and lawbreakers. Luckily, the brave officers and detectives in the LAPD (no relation) valiantly attempt to clean up the streets: interrogating parakeets, tailing donkeys, and arresting domestic terrorists.
He’s no spring chicken, but he hasn’t flown over the cuckoo’s nest just yet. Sergeant Coq has been in the dick game for decades. He’s on the verge retirement, but he keeps getting pulled back in. Over the years the department has come to rely on his familiarity with the local crime organizations, although he’s never quite been able to expose them. But there’s no fowl play here, we assure you.
He's a tad gristled and slightly breaded , and suspects his new partner is a little too tender for the force (these are the jokes, folks). Sarge still holds a great reverence for the ideal of justice despite his sardonic sarcasm.
Still, this bird's a little flighty...
A total beefcake, Bull graduated top of his class from Police Academy XIV. Unlike his partner, whose ends tend to justify his means, Bull is very by-the-book. Some chalk his idealism up to his affinity for authors such as Charles Chickens and Harper Flea, but there’s no denying he’s got the makings of a great cop.
He greatly dislikes the color red and thinks matadors look stupid. Cause they are stupid. Big, dumb hats.
A trusted and capable police captain, Captain Wright tries to see the best in Coq and Bull but is occasionally proven wrong. She is a no-nonsense, wine appreciating boss.
