After being gunned down by the mob in the late 1940s, Nathaniel Boone, a former private eye and purveyor of justice, returned as a grisly, undead monster. Over the years, his body and soul have deteriorated, leaving little more than a husk.

Recently, a paranoid young girl by the name of Maeve "Scully" Harris began tagging along with this demon, whom she supposedly attempted to exorcise mere days ago. It is believed that after a freak accident, the child gained some ability to commune with the dead, and, after a change of heart, became the undead private eye's, er, gal friday.

Together, it seems Scully and Boone continue the private investigator game and rather efficiently deal with supernatural clients. Amazingly, they actually tidy up when they're done, disposing of haunted bones, scraping ectoplasm off walls, and sealing portals to the underworld from which the ghosts emerged in the first place.

Since these nutcases seem to stay in their own lane, we aren't too worried about them. Maintain casual surveillance. DO NOT INTERFERE.
